Mamo Oyovwi is a visionary fashion professional with expertise in product development, merchandising, and sustainable fashion. With over seven years of experience at Roopa Knitting Mill, Lululemon, Marshalls (TJX), and Centennial College, he has worked across apparel design, technical illustration, and retail coordination.
Mamo excels at trend analysis, product lifecycle management, and optimizing assortments to align with market demands. His ability to blend aesthetics with functionality makes him a strong asset in both retail and manufacturing environments. Passionate about sustainability and craftsmanship, he thrives in roles that require strategic execution and creative problem-solving. Known for his detail-oriented approach and strong team collaboration skills, Mamo consistently drives excellence in every project.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Canada
Optimized product assortments at Marshalls (TJX) by refining merchandising strategies ahead of the fall season, resulting in a 10% boost in sales across men’s and women’s apparel.
Co-directed Miss Tourism World Canada 2024.
Appointed as Fashion Department Coordinator at Centennial College.
Pioneered the organization of Centennial College’s first fashion show honoring Black History Month, featuring 25+ student designers and drawing an audience of 300+ attendees.
Nigeria
Successfully established the Mamomania brand and fashion training program from scratch.
Recognized as a notable fashion brand by the Densa Awards, Nigeria.
Participated in the prestigious Style by Zenith runway show organized by Zenith Bank in 2019.
